Description
This piece consists of three polymer clay flowers & leaves supported on silver rods & mounted into a handmade rustic wooden painted boxed frame. As there is no glass or backing in the frame this allows the floral pieces to act as small sculptures which cast shadows on the wall behind. The winter flowers are inspired by the Poinsettia plant. Marking & stamping the clay before a fine application of acrylic paint enhances the textured surface of the clay flowers.
The piece can be wall hung & would be ideal as a unique handmade Christmas gift.
